What MESA is
MESA organizes one-night dinners in third-party spaces in Puerto Rico. We do not operate a restaurant or a venue of our own. Each edition is an independent event.
Terms
How a reservation works
Reserving a seat
A seat is personal and for the stated edition. We confirm by email. The seat grants no access to the space outside the event hours.
Price, service and tax
The seat includes the five courses, service and setup, with water at the table. The wine pairing is a separate, optional package. A 12% service charge, paid entirely to the team working that night, plus 11.5% tax are added to the total. Amounts are itemized before you confirm.
Cancellations
Our dinners are intimate and have limited availability. We process full refunds up to 14 days before the edition. With at least 7 days notice, we can reschedule your reservation for a future edition. Within the week before, we do not process cancellations, unless there is a force majeure, such as a hurricane or public-health restrictions.
Changes on our side
If we change chef, space or date, we will tell you and you may request a full refund. If we cancel an edition, we refund in full.
Confidential location
The exact address goes out 48 hours before, only to confirmed guests. We ask you not to publish or share it: several spaces are private homes.
Allergies and restrictions
The menu is set and we offer no alternatives or substitute dishes. We do not guarantee vegan, gluten-free or allergen-free options, and we cannot guarantee an allergen-free kitchen: we work in shared spaces. If you have a restriction or an allergy, ask us before buying your seat.
Alcohol
Wine pairings are sold separately and served only to guests 18 and over. We may ask for identification and decline service. We reserve the right to stop serving alcohol to a guest.
Minors
The dinners are adults only. We do not admit minors, and we may ask for identification at the door.
Conduct
A table works when everyone looks after it. We may ask someone to leave, without refund, if their conduct affects other guests, the team or the space.
Image
We document the nights in photo and video. If you would rather not appear, tell us on arrival and we will respect it.
Liability
Spaces belong to third parties. Each guest is responsible for their belongings. Our liability is limited, to the extent the law allows, to the amount paid for the seat.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico.
